Helichrysum (Helichrysum italicum) is an anticoagulant, anesthetic, antispasmodic, antiviral, liver protector/detoxifier/stimulant and regenerates nerves. It is useful in combatting the Herpes virus in particular, but also effective against blood clots, liver disorders, circulatory disorders and skin conditions including varicose veins. (EDR).

In our family we apply Panaway and helicrysum to strains and injury to facilitate healing. Young Living’s helichrysum is certified as a food additive and can be taken as a dietary supplement to support the liver and immune system . Helichrysum is a detoxifier, so you should consult with a holistic practitioner before doing any serious liver or organ cleanse. If toxins are released too quickly or at a time before other important organs are cleansed the result could be quite unpleasant, possibly harmful.
